I have both my CrossFit L1 and USAW certifications and complete at least one new certification / continuing education course per year. CrossFit challenges you mentally and physically every single day, I've been waiting for an "easy day of training" for 4 years now. Let us help you increase your work capacity over broad time :)

Hi, I'm Steve. I'm excited to help you reach your goals! I have my CrossFit L1 Certification, USAW L1 Sports Performance Coach Certificate, and have continued my education in Olympic Weightlifting through various clinics and books. I love lifting! CrossFit has changed my life in so many ways both inside and outside the box. I have learned SO MUCH about health and nutrition through my journey and the more I learn, the more I get hooked! I look forward to getting you hooked, too! Outside of the box I'm a musician and completely love playing any instrument I can learn. Like all things, we will take from CrossFit what we put in, so let's put in some hard work! See you at the box!
Claudia Morales, USA Weightlifting Sports Performance Coach
I have always been intrigued by the human body and how it performs. That is why as a profession I chose massage therapy. I have been a message therapist for thirteen years. This led to my passion for coaching and understanding the movements of the body. I began coaching girls kickball and did that for ten years. Coaching these young althletes taught me patience and how to communicate effectively, which led to an easy transition into coaching CrossFit. After being introduced to CrossFit by a cousin, I was hooked. Upon gaining experience and training, I was on my way to coaching other athletes at the gym. I have been coaching at CrossFit Brownsville since 2014.
My name is Pete Zamarripa IV and I want to be part of your fitness journey. I started my training September 2012 as an amateur bodybuilder and later turned CrossFit competitor in 2014. I missed the head-to-head competition of sports so I turned to CrossFit. Ive been assisting community athletes achieve their up-most potential mentally and physically since 2012. I will be acquiring my CF-L1 certification with an interest in aerobic capacity later this year. Over the last 5 years I have been lucky enough to work with great coaches with various knowledge in the CrossFit education and countless athletes of all ages and ability levels. Outside of the box I'm a Nurse, thanks to CrossFit, I am mentally AND physically prepared for anything in my everyday life. I am also leader for a group called Alpha Omega, which is a campus ministry at UTRGV. Let us help you reach your fitness goals!

Marisa Amaya, CrossFit CF-L1
Hello Everyone, my name is Marisa Amaya. I started CrossFit in 2015, but have loved Sports and exercise in general since I was very young. Before CrossFit, I was what some people would call a “Cardio Queen.” I would run 5-6 miles, 5 times per week and would make sure to squeeze in 30 minutes of abs every day, with little to no change in my body. Like most women, I thought that CrossFit would make me bulky, big and buff. CrossFit has changed my body in ways that years at a regular gym could not. I have my CrossFit L1 Certification, and will also get my CrossFit Kids Certification by the end of the year. I coached and was a Certified Youth Instructor at Oratory St. Philip Neri in Pharr for 3 years. I coached kids from the ages of 3 to High School Seniors. I can’t wait to show you and your kiddos how FUN fitness can be.
