David and I have been pretty strict about what we have been eating lately. We are trying to live as chemical-free as possible, and have been avoiding processed sugar.
I have a HUGE sweet tooth, so I have been looking for nutritious snacks, and testing some recipes. I finally found one good enough to share. They are similar to RX bars, but are tastier. The recipe is below:
2 cups dates
1/2 cup water
Mix that in a food processor. Add:
3 TB spoons cocao
1 tsp vanilla
Take that out… put in a bowl and add:
1 cup mixed nuts
1/2 cup chia seeds
1/2 cup sunflower seeds
2 cups protein
This made about 20 protein bars. Hope you enjoy!
