• CrossFit Level 1 Trainer

Hello Everyone, my name is Marisa Amaya. I started CrossFit in 2015, but have loved Sports and exercise in general since I was very young. Before CrossFit, I was what some people would call a “Cardio Queen.” I would run 5-6 miles, 5 times per week and would make sure to squeeze in 30 minutes of abs every day, with little to no change in my body. Like most women, I thought that CrossFit would make me bulky, big and buff. CrossFit has changed my body in ways that years at a regular gym could not. I have my CrossFit L1 Certification, and will also get my CrossFit Kids Certification by the end of the year. I coached and was a Certified Youth Instructor at Oratory St. Philip Neri in Pharr for 3 years. I coached kids from the ages of 3 to High School Seniors. I can’t wait to show you and your kiddos how FUN fitness can be.
